HISTORY

Cippà Trasporti was established in 1967 during a time of strong economic growth. The city of Chiasso, located in the southern-most tip of Switzerland, benefitted from the strong expansion and fervid trade between North and South Europe, becoming the preferred passage for goods and trade. During this period, rail was the common mode of transportation connecting Italy with Northern Europe. Fausto Cippà and Aldo Carò build a strong, dynamic and efficient business to master the rapidly expanding and increasingly complex forwarding business. In the progression of time they have handed over the management to their daughter and son, Roberta Cippà and Enrico Carò. Together, the next generation has further broadened the company’s activities, relocating to today’s new Group’s Headquarters in Via Maestri Comacini 7 in Chiasso.

Our Group has grown from 10 employees during the maiden years to over 50, subdivided between offices and warehouses in Chiasso and Stabio (Switzerland), and Como and Milan (Italy). Always conscious of the rapid changes in a constantly developing world, Cippà Trasporti Group is now on the verge of further expanding its branches and cooperation agreements worldwide. We strive to maintain this growth with reliability and attentiveness, two “trade marks” that constantly distinguish our services. We will continuously scrutinize geo political changes and economical moods and trends adapting our services to the best interests of our clients.

A special thanks goes to Enrico Carò for his engagement and enthusiasm. He will always remain in our hearts.

Always empowered with an innovative spirit we stay faithful to our motto.

ONE SOLUTION FOR EACH JOB.
